In August, Timbaland said he was hoping he and Dr. Dre could juggle their hectic schedules long enough to work on a major collaboration.Tim said it looks like that project is becoming more of a reality. "I want to do a Dr. Dre/Timbaland album," Timb said. "We've been talking about that. We're trying to do something real crazy."

"[We've] been talking about doing an album called Chairmen of the Boards," said the sound sculptor, who added that his Beat Club artists as well as Dre's Aftermath signees would be among those featured. "You're the first person who I talked to about it. Dre has kept it under wraps, I kept it under wraps. He was going to get a couple of other [producers] like [Jermaine Dupri], but I really think it should be me and him. We've been talking about it for the last two months. We'll pick artists we feel like we should do the beats for and put it out and promote it."

Dr. Dre Impressed By D12's Defiant Attitude

D12's debut Devil's Night has achieved gold sales status after just two weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album, featuring group members Eminem, Kuniva, Kon Artis, Proof, Swifty McVeigh, and Bizarre, features production from Dr. Dre on "Ain't Nuttin' But Music," "Nasty Mind," "Fight Music," and "Revelation."
Dre tells LAUNCH that he enjoyed working with the group because of their defiant attitudes. "I actually flew out to Detroit, and worked with them," he says. "I did four songs that are on the album and the D12 album is out of here. It's ridiculous. If you haven't like been able to tell already, I like the crazy, wild sh-t. The crazier the better. I like music that's on the edge and something that's going to be different, and people that are not afraid to say something that most people just think about. Just go on and make it wild. It's just for entertainment. That's all it is, is entertainment, and I love it."

Eminem's going to appear in a film with Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg.

It's called 'The Wash' and is set at a busy car wash where Dre and Snoop play a pair of mis-matched room-mates.

Filming starts next week and all three will provide music for the soundtrack.

Dr. Dre has settled his suit against accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, in which the superstar producer/rapper claimed the company had cost him tens of millions during his time at Death Row Records.

Dre's camp contends that while he was busy producing some of the biggest hip-hop records of the '90s, his accountants allowed others to loot money from his accounts and then participated in diverting those funds to other PWC clients. The suit accused PricewaterhouseCoopers of fraud and breach of contract of fiduciary duty.

A confidentiality agreement forbids either side from revealing details of the settlement, but a source said the firm paid Dre around $15 million to settle the case, which was scheduled to go to trial April 30.

Steve Silber, spokesperson for PricewaterhouseCoopers, said the suit was settled "in a matter that was satisfactory to both sides."

The suit was filed in 1997, but proceedings were slowed because the partner in charge of Dre's account, Steve Cantrock, refused to testify in the case, according to Dre's lawyer, Howard King.

Marion "Suge" Knight who co-founded Death Row with Dre and still heads the label and Death Row's lawyer, David Kenner, took the Fifth as well.

A companion case brought by Snoop Dogg against the firm was settled last year.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Dr. Dre is producing a soundtrack to "Diablo" and an acting role in "Training Day".

"Training Day" is a movie about an LAPD Veteran ( Denzel Washington ) teaching a rookie, the ropes of the hood. Dre plays a member of Denzel's group of cops. The movie is a Warner Bros. Picture.
